Getting Started
Welcome! This tutorial will guide you through installing and activating FullTimeTV on your Smart TV. The process typically takes 5–10 minutes.
What You Need
- Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Sony, or other major brand)
- Active internet connection (10–20 Mbps recommended for HD)
- Your FullTimeTV account credentials (email and password)
- TV remote control
Installation Steps
For Samsung Smart TV:
- Open App Store: Press the Home button on your remote and navigate to "Apps" or "Samsung Apps".
- Search: Use the search function to find the app name provided in your order email.
- Install: Select the app and click "Install" or "Download".
- Open: Once installed, open the app from your Apps menu.
For LG Smart TV (webOS):
- Open LG Content Store: Press the Home button and select "LG Content Store".
- Search: Use the search icon to find the app name from your order email.
- Install: Select the app and click "Install".
- Launch: Find the FullTimeTV app on your home screen and open it.
For Other Smart TVs:
- Access App Store: Navigate to your TV's app store (may be called "Apps", "Store", or similar).
- Search: Look for the app using the name provided in your order confirmation.
- Install & Open: Download and launch the app.
Note: If your Smart TV doesn't have access to an app store, you may need to use an external streaming device like Fire TV Stick or Android Box.
Sign In & Activate
- Launch the App: Open the FullTimeTV app on your Smart TV.
- Select Sign In: On the welcome screen, choose the "Sign In" option.
- Enter Credentials: Use your TV remote to enter the email and password sent to you after purchase.
- Activate: Click "Sign In" and wait a few seconds for your account to activate.
- Start Watching: Once activated, you can start browsing and enjoying content!
Tip: Many Smart TVs support on-screen keyboards or mobile app keyboards for easier text entry.
Troubleshooting
App Not Available
- Check if your Smart TV model is compatible (2016 or newer recommended)
- Verify your TV's region settings match your account
- Update your Smart TV firmware to the latest version
- Consider using an external streaming device if app is not available
Buffering or Playback Issues
- Restart your Smart TV (unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in)
- Check your internet speed (minimum 10 Mbps for HD)
- Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi if possible
- Close other apps running in the background
- Clear the app cache in your TV settings
Activation Failed
- Double-check your email and password for typos
- Ensure your subscription is active
- Verify your TV's date and time settings are correct
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
